I offer a range of Open Water Coaching Services for JUNIORS OR ADULTS

You may want to have a gentle introduction to open water/ cold water swimming, learn front crawl or you might be looking to sign your child up for a course of lessons to help improve their confidence in the water.

For JUNIORS I have structured groups by age and for ADULTS by ability and goal.

Private sessions are available and can be tailored to suit yours or your child’s needs and goals.

For all non swimmers or those with a debilitating fear or water my suggestion is to start in the pool and progress to the open water.

Check out the book online page for schedule and availability.

Please NOTE junior open water swimming groups finish at the end of September and restart in June

Open Water Menopause Movement

The Open Water Menopause Movement is a sea and beach based group course created to help women be healthy & strong, to enjoy the therapy of the sea, the outdoors, to connect us & clear the fog.

So what will we do in these sessions:

  • A bit of swimming and dipping. These sessions are not swim coaching sessions to improve your stroke. Its is for all levels as long as you can swim a basic stroke.
  • Strength and resistance activities using the beach and the water to encourage bone strength and build muscle.
  • Breathing and mindfulness exercises to help us embrace the change and LOVE ourselves.
  • Advice and support.

What will you need:

  • Sports Swim Wear or a wetsuit. Contact me if you need to hire one or help or advice with purchase.
  • Wetsuit boots or beach shoes
  • Swim gloves for the cooler months.
  • Tow float
  • Hat and goggles.
  • Warm clothes, wooly hat and gloves for putting on after.

Please, please don’t be putt off on the basis you think everyone is going to dive into the sea like a mermaid and swim off into the depths. This is not that group 😉  it’s a place to start your journey to taking care of yourself with the benefit of the open water.

Frosty Fish Winter Swim Group

The secret to acclimatising to cold water is just to swim in it, often. Our challenge isn’t about how long or how cold the water is but to swim consistently through the winter months to get the mental and physical benefits.
